The No-Cry Sleep Solution: Gentle Ways to Help Your Baby Sleep Through the Night
Elizabeth Pantley is a parenting educator and president of  Better Beginnings Inc., a company for family resources and education. Elizabeth often visits schools, hospitals or groups for parents and her speeches and presentations are very respectable. Her newest book, The No Cry Sleep Solution: Gentle Ways to Help Your Baby Sleep through the Night, gives you various tips about how to induce sleep for your baby and how to develop an individual sleep program for your baby.

Elizabeth’s methods are a better option for sleep-deprived parents who can’t stand to let their baby cry it out on their own and think that approach is too insensitive or uncaring. You can watch how your baby sleeps and document his sleeping and waking habits every night for coming up with the best plan to sleep through the night. This can often be hard for a sleep-deprived parent but be strong and devote to it completely. Pantley says that there is no quick solution but only a gradual process to educate your child to fall and stay asleep without your constant intervention and assistance.

Only with dedicated and consistent approach parents can expect that the program will be successful for their baby. It could take a month or longer for your child to sleep through the night but be patient because it will save you many sleepless nights. After one month everyone who has participated in the process will benefit from a more restful night and the baby will learn how to sleep independently without the need for continual and repetitive comforting.
